Working
commissions provide space to analyse the needs and interests of the neighbourhood
and where projects are proposed and evaluated, to a greater or lesser
extent, to present to the Board to be promoted. They are composed not
only of the organizations or individual members of Fundació Tot
Raval, but also by interested non-members who are able to participate
and become involved.
The main
commissions are the ones regarding the social, economic and cultural
sectors. Apart from developing projects, there are also groups working
ad hoc, as for instance, the occupational and placement projects.
Criteria
proposed by commissions to give priority to the projects:
- To provide
more knowledge about the neighbourhood.
- To involve
the maximum number of collectives, organizations and entities in the
neighbourhood, to include the existing diversity of people and groups.
- To achieve
the commitment to coordinate and to share responsibility for the projects,
principally, the member entities; but also the commitment of other
non-member organizations.
- To stress
the principal needs of the neighbourhood.
- To move
forward the social, economic and cultural critique, and propose new
guidelines to act in order to revalue the neighbourhood.
- To move
forward in finding spaces for dialogue and interaction between the
various cultural values in the neighbourhood.
- To move
forward non-conventional formats, new ways, to reach people.
